Kim David Announces Campaign for Congress, Vows to Stand with President Trump and Deliver America First Results

TULSA, OK — Oklahoma Corporation Commissioner and former State Senate Majority Leader Kim David today announced her campaign for Congress, pledging to stand with President Donald Trump and fight for the America First agenda.

David enters the race with a proven conservative record of delivering results.

While serving in the Oklahoma Senate, David authored Oklahoma’s Constitutional Carry law, strengthening Second Amendment rights for law-abiding citizens. She helped lead efforts to strengthen election integrity

by passing voter ID and ballot security laws and supports President Trump’s SAVE Act to require proof of citizenship in federal elections.

David holds a lifetime 100% rating from the National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) and has consistently fought for policies that support small businesses, protect jobs, and grow Oklahoma’s economy.

Currently serving as Chairman of the Oklahoma Corporation Commission, David has worked to protect Oklahoma ratepayers and ensure reliable, affordable energy for families and businesses.

“Others talk conservative,” David said. “I’ve spent my career delivering results. In Congress, I will stand with President Trump to secure the border, protect American energy, defend our freedoms, and lower the cost of

living for Oklahoma families.”

David comes from a family of service. She is married to a retired Deputy U.S. Marshal and is a military mom, with a son who served in the United States Marine Corps and a daughter currently serving in the Oklahoma

Air National Guard.

If elected, David said her priorities in Congress will include:

  • Securing the border and enforcing immigration law
  • Protecting American energy and defending oil and gas jobs
  • Lowering the cost of living by stopping reckless spending
  • Supporting a strong military and peace through strength
  • Defending the Second Amendment and constitutional freedoms

“Oklahomans want leaders who will stand up for our values and deliver results,” David said. “That’s exactly what I’ll do in Congress.”
